Throughout the month of July, we will be hosting a collaboration with the acclaimed Meraki culinary team, as they bring a taste of their global journey to Malta.
Meraki’s chefs will be embellishing our menu with their renowned Greek-Mediterranean dishes, offering our diners a unique opportunity to savour the vibrant and diverse flavours of the Cyclades islands. From classic mezze sharing plates, to contemporary interpretations of Greek favourites, this collaboration will bring out the best of Manta’s culinary offerings.

Meet the Chef
Meet Sanjay Dwivedi, the man behind Meraki – Sanjay’s culinary journey began at a young age, at the family table, discovering his love for food! Sanjay embarked on a remarkable career that has taken him to the summits of the culinary world, honing his craft at renowned Oliver Peyton establishments, and a seven-year tenure at Zaika, the trailblazing Indian restaurant that earned a coveted Michelin star.
A visionary in the kitchen, Sanjay is known for his fearless approach to cooking, blending the abstract with the mundane, crafting bold and creative dishes. His relentless pursuit of excellence has earned him the reputation as a storyteller of the culinary arts, constantly challenging conventions and exploring new frontiers in gastronomy. His TV appearances on shows like Iron Chef UK and MasterChef have highlighted his talent and engaging personality.
Before joining the Meraki family in early 2022, Sanjay played a vital role in the success of the acclaimed Peruvian restaurant COYA, where he served as the opening Executive Chef and Culinary Director for 10-years, setting new standards for innovation with a menu that seamlessly combines modern European techniques with Asian influences.
